At Artemis Nursery we believe that we can best meet the needs of individual children by working closely with parents. We aim to develop partnerships between parents and staff which are based on mutual trust and respect and which promote the sharing of information and knowledge for the benefit of the children in our care. We ask parents for information about their individual needs and requirements in order to ensure that we provide the best possible care for them.
We have now started home visits, where prior to your child starting nursery, members of our team come out to visit your child in their familiar surroundings. This has proved to be a great aid in their settling at nursery and also gives parents the chance to ask any outstanding questions and fill in any necessary forms.
Parents are welcomed into Artemis Nursery to discuss their child's progress and welfare with the key worker and are urged to share any relevant information about changes to their child's normal family life or routine. As you may already appreciate, this is a very important time in your child's life and we aknowledge that clearly parents know their children better than anyone else, and your input to your child's settling and wellbeing is welcomed and encouraged.
